Have a question?
The BluePaw application is intended for dog owners, while the BluePawPro application is for professionals in the field (pet shops, pet groomers, veterinarians, dog walkers, dog sitters, etc.). The two applications work in conjunction because all the data of dog owners is visible (always anonymously, as simple statistical data) to local professionals. Also, in the owners' application, local professionals with their services and offers are displayed. This creates local communities of owners and professionals who interact with each other with the aim of providing higher quality services from professionals, as they better understand the needs of the owners and their four-legged friends.
By creating the social profile, you can get useful information about how safe an area is when you tap on the map. The application checks the profiles of unknown dogs that are in the area at that moment and warns you of potential dangers. Also, in the event of your dog being lost, it is important for whoever finds him to know if he is potentially aggressive towards strangers. The registration of this information is not mandatory.
In the event of your dog being lost, especially if there are health problems or allergies, it is important for whoever finds the dog to see this information so they know what to do or avoid. These characteristics of the dogs are used (anonymously) by various professionals to provide better services to the owners in their local community since they understand the needs of your loyal friends and can personalize their services. The registration of this information is not mandatory.
All data is stored encrypted and secure on Google servers. The registered dog data is not associated with any owner, as the owner's personal information is not requested. All data displayed to professionals is anonymous and shown as statistical data (e.g., 40% mixed breed dogs, 30% female, 20% large size, 10% with dairy allergies, etc.). The only information requested from the owners also pertains to statistical data, such as what types of food they prefer for their dog, what products they prefer to buy, how much money they spend monthly on their dog, etc. The registration of this information is not mandatory.
